Planning a party can be just as a tough task as making a lesson plan. In order to make a lesson plan, you need a curriculum to follow. Like a lesson plan, it takes time and hard work to come up with a curriculum. Favoring or being biast toward a subject can have a major impact. You have to be open-minded and considerate of others. It is important not to bring politics and religion into school. This matters because you can offend some one's belief or religion and not know it. For example, "The Conservative reviewers say they believe that children must learn that America's founding principles are biblical " ( Simon, 1). There are many people that would disagree with this since they don't believe in the bible. Where as some would agree and want this to be taught to there children. Personally I think there are classes students can take at school for there own knowlege regarding there religion. For example. at Clovis High School, we have a bible lit class and people who want to take it can. Learning about how are nation is strong today is important but we shouldn't just give all the credit to one source. Just because our founding fathers were christian doesnt make this nation christian based. Traditions, customs, values, religion effect our daily lives, they make who we are today. The United States is also called the "melting pot" because we are a very diverse nation.
