Brave New World by Aldous Huxley..... there are many ideas that are popping in my mind, that i might consider writing about! Here is one that I might consider......
TECHNOLOGY and how it is used to control the society are one of the few ideas I might write my essay on. Although Brave New World is a very different and controlling society it is very interesting to read about. For example, how "human beings" are produced or shall i say "made!" I mean who would have thought about 50-100 identical human beings. CRAZY i tell!!!! I understand we use technology today to help many couples conceive but 50-100 kids .... the closest we probably have got is 8! Anyways other than technology the drug SOMA is a great influence on Brave New World! The drug is able to control the World State populace, it symbolizes the use of the instant gratification. Using technology to create a drug like"SomA" is clever... very clever. This drug helps the society in Brave New World alive and running. Taking soma whether you are female or male will help make you feel better. And for the women it prevents pregnancy. It encourages one night stands and being promiscuous.

Using other texts...
1984 by George Orwell, Postmodernism by Jim Powell, and Shakespeare's text will help give my thesis support and hopefully keep my readers in tune and help keep there attention. Comparing "1984" and "Brave New World" the societies in both books are very similar. In both books, technology is able to help or control its society. Talking about myths and narratives (Postmodernism) leads into Shakespeare. For example, the use of his text might be forbidden in the book but many of the character(s) still use it. Which also impacts the decisions they make.
